Fraud is on the rise. Hopewell Federal Credit Union has updated some of its policies and procedures in an effort to keep you safe against this challenging situation. Overdraft Privilege
Protecting you from overdrafts on your checking account.
A courtesy pay feature connected directly to your checking account
Rather than automatically returning unpaid insufficient fund items, Overdraft Privilege may pay the item for you
A fee is assessed, but you will save money by not incurring high charges from the merchant
No need to sign up for this service
No cost unless you use it
Check Connect
Check Connect gives you overdraft protection on your Hopewell Federal Credit Union Checking account. If you don't have the funds in your account to cover a check then our system will automatically pull in $100 increments to cover the check. After that the system will automatically make payments from your account in the amount of $50 on the 15 of each month until your balance is paid in full. Interest accrues on the amount loaned at the rate of 18% APR*.

Rebound Checking
We understand that sometimes bad situations occur to good people that’s why we offer Rebound Checking. It gives members who’ve lost their checking privileges on ChexSystems, a chance to turn themselves around! There is a monthly service charge of eight dollars. No overdraft privileges are available; however, here’s the silver lining, after 12 months of good standing, the member can re-open a regular checking account!

ATM Cards
PULSE/Plus Network Members can use their ATM card at any Plus/Pulse machine worldwide. They can also use their PULSE ATM card at any credit union ATM where they see the Alliance One logo and there will be NO SURCHARGE for using that machine. To find a FREE ATM near you, go to www.atmallianceone.org
